There is a lot of useless information on the World Wide Web, but not all of it is useless. The Catholic Church and its various apostolates are using the web to help keep Catholics informed about their faith and the world around them. One of the Catholic resources on the internet is news sites.
Zenit.org is “The World Seen from Rome.” It covers activities of the Pope and the Holy See, interviews with men and women of the Church, and the life of the Catholic Church on the international level.
The Vatican also has a YouTube page: www.youtube.com/vatican.
www.Catholicexchange.com has news and opinion and a variety of other useful topics.
And don’t forget www.ewtn.com, where you can find Mother Angelica and all of her TV and radio programming and many other resources. You can listen and watch live on your computer or sign up for their podcasts.
Ann Arbor has a Catholic radio station, Ave Maria Radio 990 AM, at www.avemariaradio.net. You can listen to the radio on-line or download archived programs so you can listen to them on your own time.
And lastly, www.cwnews.com is a news service faithful to the Catholic Church.
There are many other Catholic news websites, many faithful to the Catholic Church, some not.
