Patrick Madrid posted this article on Facebook. Matthew Bunson pulled together the global figures of Catholics for OSV. In the words of Pope Benedict,

the Church is alive. And the Church is young.

While the western world is aging, the African continent and Latin and South America are young and vibrant with growing Catholic populations. Check out the interesting article.

      “Catholics are under assault by the Pentecostal movement…”

      A better statement might be, “poorly catechized Catholics with little-to-no understanding of their faith are easily converted by enthusiastic and motivated Pentecostals.”
