Catholic Bishops that have Signed the Manhattan Declaration

I decided to create a new post for the list of Catholic bishops that have signed the declaration. My original post on this subject back in November listed 17 bishops as signed. Today there are 40. That’s an improvement, but it’s a long way from the majority of Catholic bishops in the U.S.A. I took a snapshot of the bishop assignments from the USCCB website on 11/30/09. The U.S.A. has 272 active bishops and 171 retired bishops in 150 dioceses and 34 archdioceses. Please encourage your bishop to read the Manhattan Declaration and then sign it.
