Call to Holiness 2011 Conference Planning Underway

August 15, 2010

I just received the summer newsletter from Call to Holiness, co-founded by Servant of God Father John Hardon, S.J. They are planning their next Conference to be held June 11, 2011, in Livonia, Michigan, and they are looking for volunteers.

Call to Holiness (CTH) was formed in response to a 1996 conference in Detroit by the dissenting group Call to Action (CTA), which has since adopted a new name, American Catholic Council (ACC). Call to Holiness strives to educate laity, clergy and religious “with the solid, unchanging teachings of the Catholic Church.” In 2011 CTA will be returning to the Detroit area and the Call to Holiness Conference will be on the same weekend.

Please consider volunteering. The volunteering meeting is Sunday, August 22, 2010 at 1:15 p.m. at Assumption Grotto Parish on Gratiot Ave. in Detroit. Complete info can be found in the newsletter.

There will also be a benefit dinner Sunday, September 26, 2010.  The keynote speaker will be Steve Ray.
