Suffering – Raymond Arroyo with Jeni Stepanek

October 23, 2010

In Raymond Arroyo’s World Over last night he interviewed Jeni Stepanek, the mother of Mattie Stepanek, a very spiritual young author, who died of a neuromuscular disease in 2004. His story, and her’s, are so very moving, so faith filled. Please watch this half hour interview which starts after Raymond’s news segment.

Jeni had a follow on interview with Raymond this past week, December 16, 2010.  I just finished watching it. That we could all hear and respond to God in that way!

Jeni and Mattie’s books:

Messenger: The Legacy of Mattie J.T. Stepanek and Heartsongs

Just Peace: A Message of Hope

Heartsongs Collection: The Poetry of Mattie J. T. Stepanek

Hope Through Heartsongs

Journey Through Heartsongs

Loving Through Heartsongs

Thank you so much for sharing the link to this interview with your readers. The story I share of my son’s life is a true story. There is no embellishment or sensationalism. When I wrote the book, “Messsenger,” I chose to tell a story of inspiration, rather than one of sensation. Sensation gets lots of media attention quickly. But inspiration has the gentle-strength to ripple out and touch lives and spirits across time. Although it is has been a long and slow struggle to find opportunities to share this message of hope and peace, I have no regrets of how or why I wrote this book. Thank you so much for being a part of giving breath and voice to a message of hope and peace that reflects the truth and love of God.
