God bless you Father! It is time for us to stand up and be counted, particularly faithful Catholic clergy like yourself. For too long our bishops have allowed the liberal, secular, “new age” groups within the Church to take positions of responsibility. An untold number of young Catholic men and women have left the faith because of their heretical teaching.

Have courage and know that you have the prayers of the faithful behind you.

Thank you for speaking truth to lies. It is always so disturbing to hear women fight for contraceptive, abortion rights and their latest “reproductive freedom” like this was guaranteed in the constitution and claim 98% of women have used this and agree with them. It is also disturbing to listen to women without any health care background repeat bad science from their positions of press appointed authority, The links between contraceptives and cancer and abortion and cancer, not to mention dvt, stroke, embolism etc… all are so harmful to women and their unborn children that the women shouting from the roof tops about their right to this are either collectively ignorant or they are profiting from it in one way or another. Take a look at the Yaz litigation and other contraceptive litigation if you want to understand the problems with contraception and the harm to the women who use them. The real agenda underlying all of these radical secular agendas is to break down the freedom of religion guarantee, to experiment with social engineering and to profit at the same time. There is no concern for women, their health or the future generations. There is no love for life from these women. Thank your for being a Priest and speaking truth. Everyone should expose these amoral, deluded, self serving, profiteers.

As a Catholic, I find the tone of this and the pugilistic words embarrassing. There is no progress to be made by churlish invitations to do battle. This is just preaching to the choir nd makes the church look shallow and hostile.

Cheryl, we are in the midst of a huge battle. That is the whole point. We cannot bury our heads in the sand any longer. Was Jesus “hostile” when he overturned the money changers tables in the temple? No. He saw the corruption and cleaned house. We need to clean out the corruption of today.

The church historically loves battles. Anything for a good crusade.

      • March 7, 2012 6:13 pm

What you should be more embarassed about, Cheryl, is belonging to a society that dismisses the value of every life and puts more interest in the consumption of products than it does on relationships to other living creatures and GOD Himself.

We’ve been called to Battle by Christ alone for the past two-thousand years: “Go out and make disciples of all men.”

        Murdered children never become men.

Looks just like a video from a jihadist. I just wanted you molesters to know that thanks to your little tirade, I am donating $100 to Planned Parenthood. I know, I know, that’s merely a drop in the bucket compared to the money you guys grifted from old ladies today, but every little bit helps, and I would gladly declare war on the Catholic church. Dress-wearing hateful child molesters.

Thanks for sujpporting the murder of helpless children and the continued abuse of women, Shelly! What a prize.

The imposter in this video is woefully uneducated about history on almost every subject he ranted about (oh god, I thought He’d never stop). I hardly think that an organization with a history filled with, abuse, murder, oppression, deceit, and slavery has a leg to stand on. And let’s not forget that he Vatican turned a blind eye to the horrors of fascism and Nazism during WWII, thus contributing to the extermination of millions of people.

Katie, could you please post some facts to back up your position?

I love Pius XII, and I’m sorry, but according to the historical record, the Church spoke out quite forcefully and regularly against the Third Reich. In fact, when bishops (including the Bishop of Rome) spoke out, the Nazis quite often gathered up *Catholics* and murdered them in retaliation. Edith Stein was one of more than a hundred who was slaughtered because a bishop *did* *not* turn a blind eye, so I’m curious to know where you get your ideas, since the historic record says otherwise.

I’m also very curious to know what, specifically, what Father got wrong, since you seem to know so much better then all of the rest of us.

My name is Tony Roberts. I have seen a DVD which I purchased from USA about two years ago which was called “Blood money”and changed my thinking against abortion. This Documentary was an eye opener for my wife and I, as it went through all the agony of abortion from the girl who was to have one ,to the Doctors & nurses who assisted. They changed their minds and hearts against abortion which was amazing to say the least. We are against abortion and are for Father Hollowell for speaking against abortion. What would have happened if The president was aborted or some other famous person. If all our leaders of the world were aborted at birth we would be living in anarchy and would be resorting to being animals and not humans. As Jesus said “if you are not with me you are against me”.

Hello to Miki Tracy! I just read an old piece of yours, Giving the Addict His Due, and was so pleased. It was very well done. Our young SSPX priest in Chicago often has quoted the Chesterton saying to us,’ We call it charity because, If the beggar deserved your alms, we’d call it justice.’ And it reminds me to shake off the protestantism one gets coated with, that snarky attitude toward the poor.

I hope that the present situation in the Church gets resolved in favor of Catholic doctrine and frees up many people to assist in this cause. Did you know that the SSPX US conference last year in Kansas was on the topic of Christ the King that ought to energize our efforts to get active politically with the restoration of Christ at the center of the plan.

I’m afraid I didn’t look at the video yet, but will. Am bookmarking the site. Thanks so much for your work, and your blog here. Come visit my site.
